The NBA fined coach Doc Rivers $15,000 Saturday "for verbal abuse of game officials" following the Boston Celtics' 110-109 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night.
Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss did not immediately return calls
and an e-mail seeking comment.
