Bill Parcells now has an unrestricted option to walk away from the Miami Dolphins with his fully guaranteed salary, according to league sources
Parcells has said he is committed to the team as their executive vice president of football operations through 2009.
Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga removed the previously reported 30-day escape clause prior to closing on the sale of the team Jan. 20
Under Parcells, the Dolphins went 11-5 and won the AFC East last season. One year earlier they went 1-15.
