The Detroit Tigers outrighted the contract of former Wolf Pack pitcher Eddie Bonine to Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.
Bonine will still be invited to attend spring training, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The right-hander went 2-1 with a 5.40 earned run average in five starts with the Tigers last season.
He finished the year in Toledo where he went 12-4 with a 4.15 ERA and 69 strikeouts in 106 1/3 innings.
