Patrick Ewing Jr. and Damone Brown combined for 52 points and 23 rebounds as the Reno Bighorns snapped the Utah Flash's four-game winning streak with a 104-93 victory on Saturday night.
Ewing and Brown each scored 26 as Reno rebounded from Friday's 36-point defeat to Utah. The Bighorns had to overcome an early 12-point first-half deficit in this one before taking control in the second. They outscored the Flash, 30-19, in the third quarter.
Former Syracuse standout and national champion Gerry McNamara registered 20 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, while Russell Robinson contributed 10 points. Reno shot 45 percent from the field and 84 percent from the free throw line (26-of-31).
Utah's struggles came from behind the arc as it connected on just 5-of-17 attempts (29 percent).
Dontell Jefferson paced the Flash, who committed 17 turnovers, with 21 points, while Andre Ingram scored 16 and James Lang had 13.
