Wizards center JaVale McGee scored two points and grabbed six rebounds while going 1-for-4 from the field in a 93-71 loss to the Miami Heat on Wednesday night.
There had been speculation that the former Pack star would start after regular center Aundray Blatche suffered a strained left knee on Monday. But Wizards coach Ed Tapscott elected to use McGee off the bench.
