Washington's New Assistant Coach Quits

New University of Washington head football coach Steve Sarkisian has lost his receivers coach, a little more than a week after Aaron Roderick accepted the job.

In a surprise announcement Monday, Sarkisian said Roderick will
not be joining the Huskies' coaching staff due to family-related
reasons. Roderick accepted a job coaching Washington receivers on
Jan. 17.

A University of Utah statement says Roderick cited personal
reasons for his decision to return to Utah, where he will coach the
Utes receivers, a position he has held since 2005.

The release says Roderick's wife, Laurel, will resume her duties
as Utah's assistant soccer coach.
