FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Amorrow Morgan scored 14 of his 20
points in the second half as Idaho State rallied from a double-digit deficit to beat Northern Arizona 60-52 Thursday night for its first road win of the season.
The Bengals (7-13, 4-2 Big Sky Conference) trailed 43-31 with 12:08 remaining when Austin Kilpatrick sparked a 21-0 run over the next 8:23 with a 3-pointer from the left corner.
Northern Arizona (5-13, 2-5) closed to 54-49 on Cameron Jones'
jumper in traffic with 1:31 left but got no closer.
Lucas Steijn finished with 12 points for Idaho State while Chron
Tatum and Matt Stucki each added eight as the Bengals won their
third consecutive conference game.
Zarko Comagic led the Lumberjacks with 12 points while Jones and
Shane Johannsen had 11apiece.
Idaho State shot 55 percent from the field and 50 percent from
Northern Arizona made only 35 percent of its field goals and 17
percent of its 3-point attempts.
