Two local X-Games athletes are featured in the January 26th issue of ESPN the Magazine. The article lists six athletes who have come back from injury to compete in the upcoming Winter X Games.
South Tahoe's Hannah Teter is featured on page 40. Teter is a three-time X Games medalist, including back in 2006 when she won the gold in the snowboard halfpipe competition.
Luke Mitrani of Mammoth is featured on page 42. Mitrani won the silver medal int eh snowboard halfpipe during the 2007 Australian Open.
The issue hits newsstands the week of January 26th.
