ESPN is reporting that sources inside the Raiders organization say that Don Martindale may be named the team's next head coach.
Martindale met with owner Al Davis for nearly five-hours on Saturday interviewing for the vacant defensive coordinator job. He reportedly impressed Davis so much that he's considering naming Martindale the team's head coach.
Martindale has been the Raiders linebackers coach since 2004.
Martindale is not under contract, and is considering other offers from both the Denver Broncos and the Cleveland Browns.
