Donte Greene poured in 14 of his 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Reno Bighorns earned their seventh victory in their last eight games with Saturday's 117-103 triumph over the Utah Flash.
The Flash stayed within striking distance before Greene took over and the Bighorns ran away in the final period. Damone Brown recorded 19 points and Patrick Ewing Jr. (16 points, 11 rebounds) and Antonio Meeking (11 points, 10 rebounds) each posted double-doubles.
Since losing 11 straight earlier this season, Reno has become one of the more efficient teams in the D-League. Against Utah, it shot nearly 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line.
Dontell Jefferson paced the Flash, who have lost two straight after riding a four-game winning streak, with 21 points. Carlos Wheeler and Kyrylo Fesenko each added 15 points.
The Bighorns will look for another big performance when they visit the Bakersfield Jam on Tuesday, while the Flash will seek a rebound performance when they host the Los Angeles D-Fenders that same night.
