Former 49ers head coach Mike Nolan has been hired by the Denver Broncos to be their new defensive coordinator.
Nolan went 18-37 during his four seasons in San Francisco. He was fired midway through the 2008 season after leading the 49ers to a 2-5 start.
He was previously the defensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens.
