Broncos to Hire McDaniels as Head Coach

The Denver Broncos will hire Josh McDaniels as their new head coach.

McDaniels spent the last seven years with the New England Patriots. He's been their offensive coordinator since 2006.

The 32-year old McDaniels will get his first chance as a head coach. He replaces Mike Shanahan, who spent 14 seasons with Denver, leading them to two Super Bowl victories.

The Denver Post is reporting that Dom Capers will also join the Broncos coaching staff. Capers spent this season at the Patriots secondary coach. It's unknown what position he'll fill on the Denver staff.
