Athletes from all over started the pre-qualifying rounds for the National Bowling Stadium Championships on Wednesday.
One of the more well-known bowlers to hit the lanes there will be Walter Ray Williams Jr who has won more titles and earned more money than any player in the history of professional bowling.
The 49-year-old talked about how he's change his style a bit over the years to compete with some of the younger guys.
"I have to rely a little bit more on my accuracy," said Williams Jr. "I get a little rotation on the ball, but not as much as these young kids. But for an old guy, I'm hanging in there pretty good."
Williams Jr and others will compete in the championships at the National Bowling Stadium in Reno through the weekend.
