The Nevada skiing team is set to open its collegiate season Jan 5-11.
The team will compete in the 2009 United States Cross Country Championships;, the Seawolf Invitational and the Alaska-Anchorage Invitational Jan. 5-11.
The U.S. Nationals coincide with the UAA Invitational, and both events get underway on Monday, Jan. 5. The Seawolf Invitational starts on Thursday, Jan. 8. The Nordic races will be held at Kincaid Park, while the alpine events will be run at Alyeska.
The Wolf Pack skiing team notched its seventh top 10 national showing in the last eight years with a tie for ninth at last year’s NCAA Championships.
The team returns its three All-Americans from last season in sophomore Greg Berger-Sabbatel (alpine) and seniors Chelsea Holmes (Nordic) and Katie Lyons (alpine).
