After finishing off their non-conference schedule against top-ranked North Carolina, the Wolf Pack basketball team will open up league play against Idaho.

The Pack has won nine straight against the Vandals including an 85-72 win in Moscow last February.

Brandon Fields scored 21 points and Armon Johnson had 12 in that game.

The Vandals finished tied for last in the WAC last season, leading the team to bring in new coach Don Verlin.

Pack coach Mark Fox says Nevada must learn from its game against UNC to be successful against Idaho.

"They're an improved team," said Fox. "We're going to put (the Carolina game) to bed first. Learn from this, try to grow from this game and then we'll dive into Idaho. It's league play, so a new season. We're excited about WAC play and glad we can open at home."

Tip off is set for 7:05pm on Saturday night. Nevada has won 18 of the past 19 home meetings between the two schools.
