One of the few bright spots the Pack can take from their game against top-ranked North Carolina is the impressive play of freshman Luke Babbitt.

The Galena High grad led the pack with 22 points including several buckets against reigning player of the year Tyler Hansbrough.

Babbitt shot 8 of 14 from the floor and also grabbed seven rebounds. The frosh impressed the sellout crowd as well as Hansbrough and Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams.

"I told him he played a heck of a game," said Williams. "He's going to be a heck of a player. He's a complete player and he'll make some people very happy for a long time."

"I think he's a good player," said Hansbrough. "He's a little hard to guard because he's a lefty and he does some things outside."
