Four Terps' Players Benched

Maryland running back Da'Rel Scott was among four starters benched at the start of the Humanitarian Bowl against Nevada for violating curfew.

Scott, who rushed for 959 yards and six touchdowns during the
regular season, did not start on offense, along with wide receiver
Danny Oquendo, the Terps second-leading receiver.

Starting linebackers Trey Covington and Moise Fokou were also
left out of the starting lineup by coach Ralph Friedgen.

Backup linebackers Derek Drummond and Antwine Perez, and
defensive back Jamari McCollough were also disciplined for breaking
curfew.
