Several sources say that the Mets are talking to the Dodgers about a trade for outfielder Andruw Jones.

The Mets would like to play him in right field, the same spot that Ryan Church was a starter at last season.

Jones is a 10-time gold glove winner; an award given out annually to the best fielder at every position.

Church was the everyday starter in right field (when healthy.) He battled post-concussion syndrome for much of the season, which limited him to just 90 games.

The former Wolf Pack star batted .276 with 12 home runs and 49 RBI in just 319 at-bats. It was his first year in New York after spending the previous three with the Washington Nationals.
