BOISE, Idaho - The Wolf Pack out-pinned the Maryland Terrapins in the Roady's Humanitarian Bowl's "Bowl for Beef" event Friday at Westy's Garden Lanes in Garden City.
The Pack knocked down 213 pins while Maryland recorded 196. Nevada's pin total means that 426 pounds of Certified Angus Beef will be donated to two charities.
Nevada was playing for Boise's Life's Kitchen as well as the Evelyn Mount Food Drive. Each organization will receive 426 pounds of beef as two pounds were donated to each cause for each pin knocked down.
