Corkill is a "Heeler" in the Team Roping event. He and his "Header," partner Luke Brown, finished tied for second place at the National Finals Rodeo. Their time of 4.1 seconds was just one-hundreth of a second behind the overall winner.
Corkill earned nearly $164,000 this season on the PRCA.
