Junior college transfer Richard Sirju is leaving Utah State after less than a season.

Coach Stew Morrill says Sirju wants to be closer to his family
in south Florida and find a place where he'll have a better
opportunity to play.

Sirju played in three games for the Aggies, scoring five points
in 23 minutes.

The junior guard transferred to Utah State from Daytona Beach
(Fla.) Community College.

The Aggies have the best record in the WAC at 8-2 overall.
