Criner a Candidate for Lowe's Award

Posted: Sat 4:19 PM, Dec 20, 2008

Nevada's Dellena Criner has been named a candidate for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. Criner is leading the Pack in scoring, averaging nearly 15 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists per game.

The Lowe's Award is handed out annually to the player that represents strength in the four C's (classroom, character, community and competition.) Criner is one of just 30 seniors in the country nominated for the award. 10 finalists will be named in February.

This marks the second straight season the Pack women's basketball team has had a candidate. Andrea Sitton was named a candidate last season.
