Jesse Brinkley has a tune-up on Saturday in the nation's capital. The Yerington boxer will face "Gentleman" James Johnson in a six-round bout in Washington D.C.
Johnson is 23-30-3 overall, with 13 career KO's. He lost his last fight by decision to Joey McCreedy on November 29th. Brinkley is 31-5 overall with 21 career knockouts.
Brinkley isn't overlooking Johnson, but he is focusing on the big "Civil War" on February 14th against rival Joey Gilbert. Tickets for that fight are still available at the Events Center box office and ticketmaster.com.
