A dream season came to an end on Tuesday. The Sparks Junior Pee Wee Wolf Pack lost to the Capital City Steelers (N. Carolina) 12-6 in the semifinals of the Pop Warner Nationals. The Steelers advance to the Super Bowl.
It was a great season for the Wolf Pack, who advanced further than any team ever has from their region. They won the Regional Championships to advance to Nationals. They also won their first round game over the Northeast Longhorns to qualify for the semifinals.
Sparks finished the year at 13-1 overall.
