Chris Gimenez is heading to Spring Training with the Cleveland Indians. Gimenez has been added to their 40 man major league roster.

He split the 2007 season between AAA Buffalo and AA Akron, batting .304 with 24 doubles, 9 home runs and 45 RBI.

Gimenez was a 19th round pick out of Nevada back in the 2004 Major League Draft. He was drafted as an outfielder, but has been converted to catcher.
