Nevada quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been named the WAC Offensive Player of the Week (see below). This is the second time this season and the third time in his career that the sophomore has won the award. This is the second straight week a Nevada player has won the award (sophomore RB Vai Taua last week). Since Nevada joined the WAC in 2000, Nevada players have been honored 40 times by the WAC with weekly awards.
