Chris Carr finally got a chance to show what he can do on defense, and he did not disappoint. The McQueen high grad came up with a big interception late in the 4th quarter that sealed the win for Tennessee, as they beat the Jaguars 24-14.
Carr has been used primarily as a return man on special teams. He got a chance to play cornerback on Sunday due to two injuries in the Titans' defensive backfield.
He recorded three solo tackles along with the interception. The INT was his first of the season, and only the second of his four-year NFL career.
Carr played his first three seasons with the Oakland Raiders. He signed with Tennessee as a free agent this off season.
The win improves Tennessee to 10-0 overall. They remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL.
