The Wolf Pack got off to a good start on Saturday night. The Pack won their season-opener, beating Montana State 72-63.
Freshman Luke Babbitt led all players with 20 points. He also added 12 rebounds for his first career double-double.
Point guard Armon Johnson added 16 points and 7 rebounds, while guard Ray Kraemer scored a career-high 12 points in the win.
The Pack was a little short-handed in Bozeman. Brandon Fields, Ahyaro Phillips and London Giles remain suspended. The three were cited for petty larceny during the offseason. Fields has been cleared by the police.
It's the fifth time in the last six years, and the 13th time in the last 15 seasons that Nevada won their season-opening game.
