Nevada middle blocker Lindsay Baldwin has been named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 20-26. This is the first WAC Player of the Week honor for Baldwin.
Baldwin led the Wolf Pack to two consecutive home victories, averaging 5.06 points, 4.38 kills on .474 hitting, 1.00 digs and 0.88 blocks per set. In a 3-1 win over Louisiana Tech, she posted a match-high 15 kills on .385 hitting to go along with three blocks. She followed that with another match-high 20 kills on .548 hitting and four blocks. Nevada has won six of its last seven matches and sits in a tie for fourth place in the WAC standings.
