Manogue Rips Douglas 47-13.

Bishop Manogue is now in the "driver's seat." The Miners (7-1) beat up Douglas (6-2) 47-13 on Saturday. Both teams came into the day tied for first place at 6-1 overall.

Manogue ran for 509 yards as a team. Josh Dupree had 187 yards and three TD's. Quarterback Pat Riggs added two rushing touchdowns.

The win gives the Miners sole possession of first place in the Sierra League. They also have the inside track on the top seed in the Northern Regional Playoffs.

The playoffs begin on November 14th
