Former Wolf Pack basketball player Tyrone Hanson has been featured in the latest issue of ESPN Magazine. The story depicts his fall from playing for D-I Nevada to a junior college in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Hanson was thrown off the Wolf Pack team after violating team rules. But he's just happy to be alive.
Hanson was beaten unconscious and robbed during a Halloween party last season where three innocent bystanders were killed by armed "party-crashers." The scuffle began between Hanson and one of the men.
Hanson had been told (before-hand) to not attend the party by Nevada Head Coach Mark Fox.
The ESPN article details his journey back to the court. It's the November 3rd issue, due to his news stands later this week.
