Pack's Johnson Named Preseason Player of the Year

Armon Johnson has been named the Preseason Player of the Year by the WAC coaches. The Wolf Pack sophomore averaged over 11 points, 4 rebounds and 3 assists per game last season on his way to WAC Freshman of the Year honors.

Fellow guard Brandon Fields has been named to the Preseason All-WAC second team. Fields averaged over 12 points per game last season; his first as a starter.

Incoming freshman Luke Babbitt was also named to the second team. The Galena High School graduate was also named the WAC Newcomer of the Year by the Media. Babbitt is the highest ranked recruit to ever join the Wolf Pack (Rivals #31 overall)
