LONDON (AP) - Police say three people have been charged with illegally obtaining information during the bidding process for London's Olympic Stadium.
Police announced Wednesday that three men were charged with fraud following an investigation into allegations made by West Ham and the Olympic Park Legacy Company. The probe centered on claims that Tottenham spied on Olympic officials during its failed bid to take over the stadium after the Olympics.
OPLC chair Margaret Ford alleged last year that all 14 members of her board were monitored by private investigators hired by Tottenham. The north London club denied putting officials under surveillance.
