Nate Burleson was on his way to a big year. But now his season is in jeopardy.
Burleson injured his knee during the third quarter of the Seahawks' 34-10 loss to the Bills. He went down after trying to make a cut while running a rout. His knee simply gave out.
It's still too early to tell the severity of the injury. Initial reports say he sprained his knee. He's due to get an MRI on Monday.
Burleson was on his way to a big game. He had 5 catches for 60 yards, including a spectacular touchdown catch during the second quarter.
The former Wolf Pack star was originally a third-round pick by the Vikings back in the 2003 NFL Draft.
