Shawn Estes is back! The Douglas high grad won his first start in over three months on Thursday night, beating the Brewers 5-2.
Estes pitched six innings, giving up just one run on seven hits. He improves to 2-1 overall with a 2.97 E.R.A.
Estes had been out of action since he fractured the thumb on his pitching hand back on May 29th.
