Josh Barrett was released by the Denver Broncos in the team's final round of cuts. He was a 7th round pick by Denver in this year's NFL Draft.
Barrett played safety in all four of the Broncos preseason games, recording 13 tackles and one pass defended.
He was an honorable mention All-Pac 10 selection at Arizona State.
