Corkey Miller was designated for assignment by the Atlanta Braves. Miller was only batting .093 in 26 games. He was only 5 for 54 with one homer and three RBIs. He started 15 games.

The Braves have 10 days to either trade Miller, release him or send him to one of their minor league teams. He must first clear waivers.

The former Wolf Pack catcher has a .179 batting average during his 7 year career.
