Nevada basketball coach Mark Fox has signed a new five-year contract that will keep with the Wolf Pack through 2011.
Fox has led Nevada to consecutive N-C-Double-A tournaments and a 52-13 record in his two years since he replaced Trent Johnson as
head basketball coach.
The two-time Western Athletic Conference coach of the year had
one year left in a three-year contract that would have paid him
270-thousand dollars next season.
Nevada athletic director Cary Groth announced the new contract
replacing the existing one. But she said could not discuss the
terms of the deal until it goes before the state board of regents
in June.
