LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles Clippers have extended qualifying offers to restricted free agents Nick Fazekas and Marcus
Williams, so the team retains the right to match any offer sheet the players sign with another team.

Fazekas, the former Nevada standout, averaged 4.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 10.3 minutes per game in 26 games for the Clippers and Dallas Mavericks last season.

The 34th overall selection by the Mavericks in the 2007 NBA Draft, Fazekas was originally signed to two consecutive 10-day contracts by Los Angeles beginning Feb. 27. He was signed by the Clippers for the remainder of the season on March 18.

The Clippers also want to keep Elton Brand and Corey Maggette, each of whom has opted out of the final year of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent.
