RENO, Nev. (AP) - For the first time in school history, Nevada's softball team is ranked nationally.

The Wolf Pack are ranked 25th in the Top 25 poll released Tuesday by USA Today/NFCA. Ulitmate College Softball also lists them at 25th while the ESPN.com/USA Softball ranks them tied for 26th with Massachusetts.

Nevada coach Michelle Gardner says her players deserve the recognition after all the hard work they've put in.

The Wolf Pack's record is 29-14 this season, 7-2 in the Western Athletic Conference. They won two out of three over the weekend at
Fresno State, which is ranked 12th in all three polls.

They are off this week before hosting Hawaii in a three-game series beginning April 19.
