It looks like Nevada basketball coach Mark Fox is indeed being pursued by the Cal Bears. The San Jose Mercury news has posted an article which states Mark Fox was reportedly in the bay area Monday to meet with Cal officials.

The reporter told KOLO 8 Tuesday that Cal was conducting interviews at the same hotel Fox was staying at last night.

Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth says she has given permission to Cal to interview Coach Fox.

This isn’t the first time Coach Fox has generated interest elsewhere. Remember, about a year and a half ago he met with Nebraska officials about their opening at the time. Now another Big 12 school has an opening after Oklahoma State's Sean Sutton announced his resignation. So don't be surprised to see Fox's name pop up for that opening.
