Chris Carr may be moving to Tennessee. The restricted free-agent signed an offer sheet with the Titans on Friday. The Oakland Raiders have seven days to match the offer.
The two-year deal is worth nearly two million dollars. The Raiders originally offered Carr a one year tender worth $927,000. Since he was an un-drafted free-agent out of college, the Titans do not have to give Oakland any compensation if they refuse to match the offer.
Carr was a star at McQueen high school, before playing college football for a nationally-ranked Boise State. He's already set the Raiders franchise record for most career kickoff return yards.
Carr said he's looking for a change to get a chance to play more on defense. He was mostly a backup at cornerback during his stay in Oakland.
