The Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday signed free agent forward Nick Fazekas, a second-round pick in last year's draft, to a a second 10-day contract.
The Clippers previously had signed Fazekas to a 10-day contract on February 27.
In three games with the Clippers, the 6-11 Fazekas has scored just two points and grabbed three rebounds.
Fazekas was drafted by the Dallas Mavericks out of Nevada, but did not see any action with the team this season. He was released on February 19 to make room on the roster for Keith Van Horn, who was involved in the trade in which the Mavericks acquired point guard Jason Kidd from the New Jersey Nets.
In 28 games for the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA's Developmental League this season, Fazekas averaged 19.0 points and 10.0 rebounds. He was selected to the D-League All-Star Game but did not play.
