The town of Fernley was buzzing on Friday, after Kevin Hart became the first Vaqueros' senior in school history to accept a division one football scholarship. Hart chose Cal over Oregon. But now several reports claim that neither school recruited him.
BearTerritory.net is reporting that California never even recruited Hart. And their investigation shows that Oregon, Oklahoma State and Nevada didn't recruit him either.
Vaqueros Head Coach Mark Hodges could not comment on the situation, but did tell the web-site that a "law enforcement investigation" has begun.
Hart is a 6 foot 5, 290 pound offensive guard.
