Three Locals Strike Gold at X Games

Three Tahoe-area athletes won the gold at Winter X Games XII.

Jamie Anderson defended her 2007 X Games title, once again winning the Snowboarder "Slopestyle" competition. She made history last year, when at 16 years old, Anderson became the youngest winner in X Games history. Anderson is a South Tahoe native.

Truckee's Nate Holland took the gold in the Snowboarder X . Holland has now won the event three straight times.

And Daron Rahlves is back on the slopes. Rahlves won the Skier X competition. He's the winningest speed racer and the top downhill racer in U.S. history.
