The Washington Nationals have traded former Nevada outfielder Ryan Church to the New York Mets.
The Nationals will get Mets outfielder Lastings Milledge in exchange for Church and catcher Brian Schneider.
Church played for the Wolf Pack from 1997-2000. This past season with Washington, he hit .272 with 15 homers and 70 RBIs. He also tied for the team lead with 43 doubles.
