DOUGLAS, Isle of Man (AP) - Organizers say 11 people have been hospitalized following a crash at a motorcycle race on the Isle of Man. The injuries range from "slight to serious," with none believed life threatening.

The bike of rider Jonathan Howarth careened into spectators during a crash on the first lap of the senior Isle of Man TT race Friday. Howarth was not hurt.

Inspector Derek Flint of Isle of Man police constabulary told The Associated Press that police won't be investigating because no one died.

The race was halted but expected to restart. Isle of Man races are held on more than 37 miles of public roads around the island in the Irish Sea.
