- Nevada Volleyball Wins First Road Match At San Jose State
SAN JOSE, Calif. - The University of Nevada (9-17, 5-7 WAC) volleyball team won its first road match of the season sweeping San Jose State (1-23, 1-12 WAC) in a Western Athletic Conference match by scores of 25-18, 25-22 and 25-21 at Spartan Gym in San Jose, Calif. tonight. The 3-0 sweep of the Spartans was the second for the Wolf Pack over the Spartans in less than a week after defeating them at home on Oct. 29. With the victory the Pack improved to 9-17 on the season and 5-7 in WAC play while SJSU dropped to 1-23 and 1-12 in conference play.
