RENO, Nev.— The Reno Aces have partnered with Camp Lotsafun for a unique community experience that will allow campers to play baseball on the Aces Ballpark field with Aces players before Saturday’s game against the Salt Lake Bees.
Between 15-20 campers will have the opportunity to join the Aces on the field from 5:45-6:15 p.m. for a fun baseball game. The game with Camp Lotsafun is part of an ongoing effort of the Reno Aces Foundation to give back to Northern Nevada.
“Camp Lotsafun is ecstatic to have the opportunity to partner with the Reno Aces,” said Program Director Jill Gabel from Camp Lotsafun. “Our campers, young and old with various disabilities, are ready to play some ball with the Reno Ace players. We are overjoyed to bring some campers to the Aces Ballpark for a great game.”
Children and adults with special needs are given the opportunity to participate in recreational and social programs through Camp Lotsafun.
“Camp Lotsafun focuses on providing unique experiences for all our participants,” said Gabel.” We thank the Reno Aces staff and players for wanting to engage with our campers!”
