ROUND ROCK, Texas— After hitting for the cycle and completing a franchise-record 17-game hitting streak, Reno Aces outfielder Collin Cowgill has been named Pacific Coast League Player of the Week, the league office announced today.

This marks the second weekly PCL honor for Cowgill this season, after he was given the award on May 2, as well. Teammate Wily Mo Peña has also received the award twice this season. Overall, this marks the seventh time in franchise history a member of the Aces has earned a weekly honor from the PCL.

For the week of June 6—12, Cowgill batted .481 (13x27) with five RBIs, five extra-base hits, eight runs scored and a 1.311 OPS. On June 7, he hit for the second cycle in club history, finishing 5-for-6 and reaching safely on an error in the bottom of the 10th inning that completed a walk-off Aces win and the biggest comeback in franchise history.

Albuquerque’s Randy Keisler was named PCL Pitcher of the Week.

Cowgill and the first-place Aces begin a four-game series with the Tucson Padres at Aces Ballpark tonight. Tickets can be purchased at the Aces Ballpark Box Office, online at www.RenoAces.com or by phone at (775) 334-7000. Discounted group tickets for your next event are available today.
